Dr. Clint Laird, DPM
Dr. Clint Laird, DPM is a board-certified podiatric physician specializing in foot surgery and sports medicine. He is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA), Florida Podiatric Medical Association (FPMA), American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (ACFAS), and the American Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine (AAPSM).
Dr. Laird earned his Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science, graduating cum laude from Texas A&M University, before obtaining his podiatric medical degree from Barry University. He completed an extensive four-year residency program, including three years of surgical training at Westchester General Hospital, followed by a fellowship in pediatric and sports medicine at Cedars Medical Center in Miami.
As a lifelong cyclist, Dr. Laird developed a passion for sports medicine early on, leading him to pursue podiatry with a focus on the critical role the foot and ankle play in athletic performance. He is known for his patient-centered approach, treating each individual like an athlete and a member of his own family.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Laird is a national lecturer on a variety of sports medicine topics and is a past President of the American Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine, where he has also served on the board for 10 years—demonstrating his long-standing commitment to advancing the field.
Originally from East Texas, Dr. Laird has spent more than 30 years living and practicing in Florida and currently resides on the West Coast. Outside of work, he enjoys cycling and spending time with his children.
